Course Overview
Build on your Sensorial foundation with this dynamic hands-on workshop, focused on more advanced Montessori materials and techniques. Sensorial Two is designed for anyone looking to deepen children’s sensory and cognitive development – helping them explore complex patterns, refine classification skills, and strengthen abstract reasoning through purposeful activity. Guided by qualified and experienced Montessori trainers, you’ll learn how to present Sensorial materials with confidence and clarity.
Whether you’re an educator, parent, student, or simply curious about Montessori, this course offers a rich, inspiring perspective on how advanced sensory experiences support lifelong learning and critical thinking.
The Sensorial materials
Sensorial Two introduces children to deeper levels of exploration and abstraction through refined materials that extend their sensory experiences. Advanced visual activities such as the Colour Tablets Box 3, Geometric Cabinet, and Constructive Triangles help children analyse shape, symmetry, and design. The Sensorial Decanomial Square and Binomial and Trinomial Cubes foster early algebraic thinking and pattern recognition. Tactile materials like the Baric and Thermic Tablets, Thermic Bottles, and Gustatory Tasting Bottles further refine the senses of weight, temperature, and taste. These experiences don’t just enhance sensory discrimination – they empower children to think logically, observe precisely, and build mental structures that support mathematics, literacy, science, and art.
